Keep a healthy skepticism about the lowest bid. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Many operators may seem attractive by their low bids, but are often uninsured or underinsured and do substandard work. In most cases they will tell you what you want to hear instead of what you need to know. The price may seem great but could lead to disastrous results if an improper roofing system is suggested and installed.
